Booking an Appointment
We operate an appointment system but reserve limited vacancies for urgent cases on the day. Consultations require 15 minutes. If you feel you need a longer appointment, please advise reception when making the appointment. Appointments can be made via our website plugin to Health Engine online booking system or by phoning our reception team on 07 5441 6093. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Emergencies and infants will always be given priority and reception staff will attempt to contact you if there is any delay or if the GP has been called away on an emergency. Longer consultations are available so please ask our receptionist if you require extra time. Walk in patients – the next available appointment will be offered.
Emergency and acute medical conditions will be given priority. The doctor may discuss whether a home visit is required for existing patients.
Cold/flu symptoms? On arrival we may ask you to stay in your car and phone us to check you in from outside. We do have an isolation room in the surgery. We can arrange prescriptions to be delivered via the pharmacy or as electronic scripts to your mobile phone.
Workers compensation – first visit fees are the responsibility of the patient, until you can supply a valid claim number. If you have any concerns regarding billing, please discuss with reception. Some pathology investigations and all procedures will incur a private fee.
